This global collaboration aims to bridge educational gaps, fostering a nurturing environment where young minds in remote villages of Uttarakhand can thrive and realize their full potential.
Connecting To The Roots has made a significant impact in the remote villages of Uttarakhand namely Almora, evidenced by the remarkable achievements of our students. One of our students achieved an exceptional score of over 90% in her board exams, a feat that is virtually unheard of in the region, demonstrating the effectiveness of our educational programs. Recently, we conducted a comprehensive quiz covering topics taught over the past year and beyond. The enthusiasm and knowledge displayed by the children were outstanding, and the top two scorers were rewarded with tablets, purchased through funds raised by our partner organization, Hamara Prayas. This not only incentivizes academic excellence but also provides the students with valuable tools for further learning and development.

On the fourth of September, Hamara Prayas hosted the prize-giving ceremony for the quiz conducted on the 19th of July 2024. In this ceremony, which was attended by the state's Minister of Education, Shri Dhan Singh Rawat, we distributed two Lenovo tablets (which were purchased from the money collected from the donors) to the top scorers of the quiz we conducted. Below given are snapshots of the prize giving ceremony.
