Begusarai's community urgently needs your help. India has seen a disturbing trend of approximately 70,000 deaths due to blood cancer in the last year alone. Approximately every five minutes, someone in India is diagnosed with blood cancer, and Begusarai is no exception. This increasing health crisis requires immediate and coordinated action and your assistance is critical. Combating blood cancer would require immediate emergency blood transfusions, provided by local blood banks, a facility not present in this town. Without the support of these blood banks, the curability of these diseases decreases significantly. 

To meet this critical need, Humara Prayas is working towards opening a blood bank in Begusarai. The demand for such a facility in this area is very high. Its presence will be critical in providing prompt, life-saving therapies to people suffering from serious blood-related illnesses. The construction of a blood bank will ensure that Begusarai inhabitants receive the necessary care right away.

Furthermore, to ensure the success of and build support for this blood bank, we intend to conduct awareness campaigns to share knowledge about the curability of Leukaemia and Thalassemia via our outreach programs. With our awareness campaigns, conducted in partnership with the Rotary Blood Bank, we hope to receive donations that would help us collect and store blood to cure these diseases.
